Project goals

To create tools and prepare a training program that will help FL Technics managers better understand the company’s strategic goals, project directions, financial indicators and market features, also deepen their understanding about the company, and develop the ability to quickly make the right decisions both in business simulation and in real life.

Solution

To achieve results in the shortest possible time, we have developed a realistic board (i.e., non-electronic) simulation game, which reflects the exact business situation of FL Technics. This has helped participants quickly identify typical business situations, look for ways to solve them, and offer guidance to managers on how to improve the company’s business.

In 2014 – 2018, more than 300 specialists and executives took part in the programs.

With the help of the Cesim Board Game simulation “MRO professionals”, all employees of the company had the opportunity to simulate company management and make their own decisions. The employees had an excellent opportunity to try out the role of top managers and be directly involved in business management. About Home Credit Bank project

Project goals

The leader of the Russian retail banking market has been striving to improve the quality of business decisions by developing its upper-level management, giving them a broader, inter-functional approach and expanding business awareness. The training was intended for the middle and upper level managers.

Solution

We created a 3-day program (Customised SimBank Business Simulation with practical discussions and theoretical insights). During the program, participants were able to feel the consequences of management decisions in a competitive environment in a short time and learn from their own and “competitor’s” mistakes.

In 4 years, we have trained 450 executives. The training took place in 15 branches of the bank.

About Coca Cola HBC Eurasia project

Project goals

Coca Cola HBC Eurasia cares about skill developing of both managers and specialists of different functions (finance, marketing, logistics). Therefore, the company has developed a Leadership Development Program (LDP), implemented in the mini-MBA format. Cesim’s 2-day Strategic Business Management and Business Efficiency Module (Business Simulation for Cesim Global Challenge in conjunction with instructional theories and practical discussions) is a part of the program developed by Coca Cola HBC Eurasia.

Solution

To keep the attention of the participants, we had to spark their interest and involve them. Therefore, we combined a 2-day strategic business simulation game and added the theoretical part about the strategy, its importance, and ways of achieving it. The participants had the opportunity to immediately test the theoretical knowledge in a practical business environment, provided by business simulation, thus, ensuring its direct application in practice. Participants had the opportunity to go their own way, make mistakes, correct them and learn from them.

In 6 years, we have trained 220 managers and finance, marketing, logistics specialists.
